Yes, individuals like "out-of-control college students, school administrators, journalists, and titans of the entertainment industry" doing stupid stuff--or, more usually, having controversies manufactured about them by right-wing media--is all the reason one needs to vote for people who are literally using the power of the federal government for extra-judicial killings, kidnappings, sentencing people to an early death through a conspiracy-laden approach to health care, profiteering off of government contracts, destroying higher education in this country, taking large bribes for pardoning criminals, obliterating national research into things like cancer, and conducting foreign policy with a sole goal of personal enrichment. The former is way worse than the latter and of course voting for death and corruption would make someone an adult. How else could you justify it at all unless you convince yourself that adults make hard choices so I voted for the group that validates my prejudices, biases, and ignorance at the expense of the country?
