Doubt it'll happen, but A'mauri Washington, Oregon DT, is a guy I hope falls to our first pick (from Wash) in the 2nd.

He strikes me as a brilliant Demeco-style DT

    18. Houston Texans – Olaivavega Ioane, G, Penn State
A workable starting front for Houston has finally emerged after plenty of tinkering throughout the early season. That shouldn't prevent the team from continuing to address its peskiest problem, however, and Ioane's reliability in both limiting interior pressure and creating a push in the run game should be a major draw for the Texans.

Yes. Caserio will trade back after realizing every team has already moved ahead of 16 to grab the player they wanted.

Win the division and we have a real chance. This is the weakest that the AFC has been in a decade at least. Anybody in the playoffs could win it. I’d love to knock out KC and their ref advantage.

Moore and Simpson better declare. They ruin the entire draft order if they don't.

Have a good feeling the Texans have an eye on Tanner Koziol, no idea where he is in terms of draft grade but Caserio is known to personally scout UH games. 4th round is my best guess

Draft these 2 guys and sign a vet center like Cade Mays, this offense would look so much better.

    Simpson probably will declare,

Moore probably will stay at Oregon. Knight is going to pay Moore big money.

I feel like Moore and Simpson should stay in school personally. Both young starters, get some more seasoning.
That could hurt them if they fail to perform or get hurt, but I think the benefit outweighs the risk.

    BDN on with Mark Vandercarrschaub:
"We begin our draft meetings with our scouts next week to go over what we need."

Thinks the underclassmen will all declare

Caleb Downs will not be drafted #2, I can guarantee that, because he's a Safety,

Ten-ish best football players who would merit high picks, that I've seen in college football so far (no QB)

    Love, RB
    Downs, S
    Reese, edge
    Bain, DE
    Tate/Tyson/Lemon WR
the Utah OTs Fano and Lomu
    Mauigoa RT/OG and Ioane OG
    Bailey/Faulk DE
    ...
    McCoy CB
Sadiq TE (but he can't block much, this bothers me)
The other OSU LB whose name I can't remember now...eta: Sonny Styles

Sadiq is a better blocker in the 2 games I've watched him in than you're giving him credit for IMHO.

Sonny Styles- Former S that Patricia moved to off ball LB. Somebody is going to get a steal between picks 15-25 IMHO.

Well, we got a game or 2 to watch Sadiq block then, and one to watch Styles cover and tackle.

Styles looked real good against the Horns early in the year. I'm looking forward to seeing how Reese/Styles do against Indiana Saturday. I bet they do well. Really talented guys.
