According to the announcement, it covers all of Texas. But NBALP is cheaper for you and has more games/archives and better video controls.

    LP is $13.99/month …

Don’t fall under the misunderstanding that you are getting past national blackouts.

i guess it has no relevance except to localish fans who are being robbed of coverage that should be free? i see, **** that. i thought it might be an alternative for h-town fans who no longer live there, like me. whatever, dumb app imo.

Just in case it makes a difference, LP is cheaper now

    • $16.99/month right now for 1 device, all teams
    • $13.99/month for one team (you have to scroll down to find that plan)
    • That also comes with VOD for all historical games, fwiw. Even the ESPN/peacock blackouts are only 1 day.
those prices include the commercials during breaks. Only premium provides the in-arena coverage, ie in-arena entertainment vs commercials. Premium is also 3 devices.

yep. But I really miss the archives. Plus, I seem to be like 2-3 minutes behind live. But the quality is excellent. Better than I remember LP being.

I'm probably going to add the 1-team deal, since my hobby is to rip plays after the game. Won't need to wait for torrents the next morning.

$20/mo is expensive. I’m pivoting from YouTube TV to Direct TV streaming when my month is up.

I used to use illegal streams for years. Then realized that League Pass is kind of cheap and the convenience is super worth it. No more fumbling with lag, and I can watch on my big screen TV easily. The only lame thing is the blackouts.

I admit I'm making an assumption, but my reading is that the absence of any details about VOD implies that it's not a feature.

If it were, I would expect the answer would would have included something like "However, game replays will be available to watch on-demand (x amount of time) after they air." or that VOD would have its own FAQ section entirely -- again, I'm assuming that's not the case or keeez would have shared it.

Happy for you guys outside the grey, but this is now useless for me and I will continue to do what I've been doing.

quality, paid IPTV has none of those issues

I used LP for over a decade, but the blackouts are too much now, and the multiple streaming providers. I gave up. But this 1-team offer (plus IPTV) is bringing me back to the table.

Why don't you buy LP for $13.99 for 1 team. Everything about LP is better than SCHN+

I guess you want the Astros, too. I didn't think of that. Are you in the Astros blackout?

curious: when did you find out about the $13.99 single team offer. I didn't see that in October. Is it recent?

Unlike the selfish-ass NBA, the Astros and Rangers share their broadcast area so there's no blackouts for either team.

I don’t see an app yet on the google tv playstore. I wonder if this is going to be mobile app and web only?

They said it’s coming to other platforms soon. Meanwhile you can cast from the phone app to your tv.

So can I watch the Rockets and Astros games on this app when I'm up in Colorado?
