Even without watching you can see this is on coaching: - starting Reed - mistake since he needs to play more freely. It worked because KD was out and he wasn’t forced to feed him. - bench barely playing - Okogie is not getting a rhythm and it’s showing. Ime knows it hence the limited minutes. - Tate playing the most bench minutes and no Jeff Green - KD 40 minutes on a back-to-back?!!! WTF is Ime doing? This is a certified way to lose a ball game. We were rolling and suddenly you think because of Reed’s great play that to change the starting line-up will get us the same production? And then refuse to acknowledge KD’s frail body…
Tonight's loss was due to a collective lack of effort and focus, combined with a staggering amount of stupidity. Ime did not have the players mentally prepared. He should have had a sense the "happy feet" were coming and addressed it after such a celebratory win yesterday. I'm glad the Rockets fought back and lost this going down fighting. That will make it hurt and I want this loss to burn them for a very long time.
I think he’s saying… it’s not the end of the world lol. It sucks but it happens to basically anyone (maybe only OKC is exception so far this year lol but other than that any team can have an off night). Chalk it down as a loss and move on to the next one. We will be fine.
Just move on to the next one. This is the first L to a bad team, it's normal to just randomly drop a few of these games here and there but there are definitely some concerns. KD going into chuck mode being the main thing just ruins the whole flow of the team. If the team can't get rebounds its almost always an L Ime's stubbornness... But again, they are bound to drop games randomly to bad teams. Sometimes it's just not your night.
The problem is that is all Ime seems to know how to coach the offense. It used to be a daily dose of FVV to Sengun pnr. Now, it is me first, then you, between Alpi and KD. Ime's offense is getting stale and very old.
Funny that the Lakers were blown out by PHX and Denver lost to Dallas somehow. Odd night in the west I guess. Also PHX blew out the Lakers with a gleague squad too...
It’s not easy to beat the same team on a B2B. Yeah Utah sucks but they have some good players and Rockets were tired. Overall, long season it happens.
Lakers lost, nuggets lost, we are fine. Mondays and weekend games are normally the most sus nba days.
