We should trade Steve Francis for Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy. Oops I had a stupid trade flash back. To show you how bad GS is, Dunleavy is their leader in fg% among players with significant minutes with a whopping % of 42.7.
Nah, I got what you were trying to say. It's still fun to make fun of you, though ...for bringing your obsession with Francis into a thread about the worst GM in the league which had nothing to do with Francis until you came in.
My computer blocks out the first three replies of every thread. Must be some weird bug from banning me from the D&D or something.
mullin & thomas.. in that order. in terms of how they made changes on their respective teams. but when it comes to weisbrod, i hate him in terms of personality. he is so unprofessional and such a big walkin ass-crack. but, i kinda like magic's playin right now though...
Mullin, easily. Although if you consider him assistant GM of the Mavs instead of executive VP (or whatever) of the Warriors, he's done a good job.
Okay, I'll rationalize my picks: Weisbrod - I thought the timing on the T-Mac trade was horrible, and that he could have made out much better. And calling McGrady out before and after the trade was very, very stupid. Also, he traded a lot of young frontcourt talent for an over-the-hill, chronically injured Tony Battie. Kupchack - Outside of signing Payton and Malone, who wanted free championships, all of his moves have sucked, and the Lakers personnel outside of Kobe and Shaq got worse every year under his watch IMO. The Shaq trade was horrible, and didn't even adress team needs (they're left with Chris Mihm and Brian Grant to play center, and have five small forwards on the roster.) The Mihm trade was a joke; when the trade was announced, he publicly said the Marcus Banks was the key to the deal... and then was forced to hand him back over because he was afraid of Gary Payton, whom he apparantly lied to before picking up his option.
I actually like Francis and am still cheering for him...not one of the Francis haters here. I also think Scott Layden must have been one of the worst...wonder if he will ever get a GM job again.
