I get all the bullshit from the refs and whatnot but man ime needs to stop with the ****ing zone defense. This is beyond stupid. Zone defense will not work against this team man for **** sake. Also ime, you know you can timeouts…

 

This is the one game we need KD for. He has to show them they are nothing to be scared of, they are definitely shook.

 

That Zone defense helped stretch the Warriors lead. If the rockets lose by 7-9, it was Ime’s fault again. He won’t stop playing zone. This could be another game he loses us, but the rockets gotta do better at defensive rebounding. Sengun needs to ****ing step up.

 

Halftime kids made a few baskets.

 

Yes this is literally the last team you want to play zone against.

You could see the moment the Warriors spotted it, they just ran a quick pick action to get an open corner 3.

That team plays with too much motion and has too many high IQ players to get away with that.

 

Discombobulated brand of basketball. Reed and CC making the most of their minutes. Amen with 2 cheap fouls called on him, last one was legit.

I expect a tech on Sengun by the next qtr.
same shenanigans as the previous 2 games. Open hand shoves, no whistle. But can't let them punk you like that. Make the refs throw you of the game.

 

The Rockets seem a bit disinterested, or so it seems to me. Maybe it is a time zone thing. The refs are alert and committed to making sure the Warriors are "protected." I really hate GS and Steve Kerr. Wait, "hate" is not a strong enough word.

 

Zone defense has literally not won this team a single game.

Ime loses more and more of the points he put in the bank in the past couple of years, every game he trots out this embarrassment.

It's the fact the players have NO IDEA how to play a zone that does it for me.

The two at the top should NEVER be above the free throw line to three point line area. HOW MANY TIMES ARE THEY MILES ABOVE THE THREE POINT LINE?!

The C should NEVER rotate to the corner. HOW MANY TIMES IS THE C ROTATING TO THE CORNER.

This is zone defense 101 and an NBA coach can't even get it right. It's seriously embarrassing.

AND IT CONTINUES TO BE EMPLOYED GAME AFTER GAME.

The whole Rockets team playing like trash. We win games when we have high assists as a team. Alpi Sengun has been trash ever since that Orlando game. That's when he said it didn't matter who was in front of him. Well Joker and Draymond are here and you look soft. Also Jabari is starting to do too much, as well as Reed. Move the fn ball!

We should have made at least twice as many 3Pers. Those were not heavily contested shots. Most of them weren't contested at all
