As it is, I'd peg the value of his current play (not including future potential) as around $35M - $40M next season, so pretty close to the max. With future potential factored in, he'd easily get offered max money on the open market

He's supremely overrated, is a locker room cancer that has bailed on several teams when it's got too hard, yet he's somehow beloved by the media and the refs. I don't understand.
