I think Tari starts after KD retires in 2 years and when KD misses games. In the meantime he’s gotta try to get through a season healthy enough. He’s injury prone unfortunately, hopefully that can improve somehow, but it’s definitely a concern.
I can predict what it SHOULD be, but Ime is an idiot when it comes to rotations and lineups, so there's no telling what he actually does. It could be Capela, Tate, Davison, Green, Crawford for all we know.
DFS has laced up before. Just not with the Rockets. I don't think he will start by the end of the season as I think inertia keeps JSJ in the starting lineup, but I do think the Reed, Amen, DFS, Durant, and Sengun lineup will be a very strong lineup if they are all healthy. I think the Rockets need a 2nd POA defender with Amen starting, whether that be Okogie or DFS.
It’s either Reed or Okogie. If Reed can take the physical play better and be at least average on defense. It will be him. Otherwise, it’s Okogie. DFS and Tari will both come of the bench if available. They are not guards. I still maintain that having a sharp shooter like Reed coming off the bench is mo important, than replacing a defense heavy starting five. Durant is already a sub-par defender, it’s foolish to start the game with two avg to below avg defenders. In any case, Reed should always have either Amen or Okogie on the floor with him, even all 3 if you want to go small. Reed and Holiday in the game at the same time is stupid, especially if Durant is in the game or the double bigs are in. Basketball, especially the playoffs, is played on both sides of the floor.
