Literally nobody said to take holiday. Nobody argued that Reed was shooting great. In fact, for team building and a deep playoff run playing him through struggles would be the best thing. It’s quite literally stated in my post I don’t understand why people here are so obtuse and play this stupid straw man. There is no such thing as as Reed Only Fans. He’s played about 15 games or so for this team Players like Curry will have an off night too but we’re supposed to pretend that benching young lottery picks that got no playing time their rookie year is somehow supposed to make this team better.
Dillon Brooks claimed the Rockets were flopping, holding and grabbing all night: “I’ve never seen so many flops being rewarded on the other side. It honestly felt like I was in a FIBA game.”
I like him. His show was/is my favorite to listen to in rockets bball. I do think he needs figured out more how to have a conversation instead of long monologues every time.
If he could just stop himself every time he says the word 'again', he could be great. His insights are good and worth listening to, and he is articulate, but he repeats himself over and over and ... [Dave says something, Ben cuts him off] ... over and over
Thoughts the morning after: Not one of Sengun's better games this season. He was fine, but did not seem as decisive and aggressive on offense or on the boards. Just seemed a little less engaged. Okogie continues to prove he was a great vet minimum signing. His scoring numbers weren't great last night but it felt like he was all over the place making a big impact on defense and rebounding and just making all the hustle plays we usually count on Tari for. Reed's worst shooting game of the season so far, but he looked much better on defense and passing. Great intensity, forced three turnovers, 5 assists to 2 TO on the other end. Jabari was unspectacular but solid. One of his standard good games with a couple of nice highlights thrown in. Game ball goes to Amen, who the last couple of games has broken out of his slump in a big way. Just needs to keep it going. Honorable mention to Aaron Holiday who again provided a big scoring punch off the bench with his 3P shooting. Just stop driving into the paint, dude.
It was a huge win. The way I look at it, we were without our best player and still went into Phoenix and spanked them by 20. Even though some of our players had off nights, we still showed championship caliber traits in getting the job done. This team is special. Once Durant fully settles in and DFS comes back, I will take our chances against anyone.
Holiday still got it. Excellent performance. amen seems to really be effective off the ball. Nice to see his shot going in JD is a nice player Reed consistently producing on a winning team Adams is a man among boys Sengun shot looking good from deep. missing you brooks Jabari is a really good player and seems to shine when you need him to
i hope jabari got a chance to chat with him because based on this short video, jabari was left hanging lol
