Women can't win, at least in the court of public opinion. If they stay home with the kid(s), they're not contributing anything to society. If they go into the workplace, they're sacrificing their kids to chase the almighty dollar.
Why do you have to include your ID when you go to the bank and make a straight cash deposit? My kids give me cash when they want to buy something online, so I'll just buy it and deposit the cash later. I went through the drive thru today and sent in my $110 cash, pre-printed deposit slip and my debit card. Guy sends it back and tells me he needs my ID. I mean, what exactly are they trying to prevent? Someone fraudulently depositing money into my account? Can I just tell them that if someone wants to do that, I'm okay with it? I get it if you're getting cash back from a deposit....but a straight deposit? Get off my lawn!
My guess is that banks don't like to be annoyed. Checking an ID makes it less likely your money gets deposited into someone else's account and then having to try to figure out the mistake. Probably a bigger reason is that people were claiming they deposited money and blaming the bank. Just easier for the bank to check ID on the account for each deposit than having to deal with irrate customers.
AI videos that don’t clearly state they are AI. I wanted to see vids of the Ethiopian volcano eruption and most of what is available is ridiculous AI videos of massive explosions of lava, rock and ash.
