Yeah I'm in favor of him always coming off the bench because we have no bench scoring. Holiday was that role tonight, but ideally having him come in with Tari to be those bench energy guys, seems like the perfect role for him until he has the confidence to be more aggressive.
Reed is never allowed to have an off half especially when he's basically a rookie People need to chill tf out
I don't think the teammates are all a blatant net negative and worse with Reed on the floor. Hasn't reached regular Jalen levels yet thankfully.
I've been gradually thinking he's more D-Wade than anything else if he's a backcourt player. That said I don't think that shot was anything crazy for him to make consistently. He was doing that all day last season.
He can be doing some things well and still not necessarily playing within the flow of the offensive. More than one thing can be true. I love Sengun, but not really liking how he is playing either, personally.
Reed was bound to have an off night shooting the ball at some point. He is still impactful with 3 steals and 4 assists in the first half.
Reed 1/6 but he could easily have 7-8 assists. 4 points 4 assists 3 steals. Not a bad stat like, especially since I think we’ve seen enough to not worry about his shooting. Needs to lock in a bit more defensively, like he has the last few games. Good vision out there
I noticed the same thing...at the same time though, he needs to be confident taking that shot. He is so out of rhythm right now. He's not doing the things he could be elite at very well.
whenever Reed try to play make his shooting struggles. When he is coming bench then he is looking to shoot which creates a different type of rhythm for him. he will learn how to balance this with more minutes and will be like Chris Paul or mark price
