KD missing next two games due to a “family matter”

Have had plenty of space in between games so I know that the high minutes aren’t probably a big deal.

that being I don’t mind him missing a couple games, although unfortunately, I imagine we will lose one of these because of it if not, both.

Our goal is more of an end of season one. Obviously home court advantage would be amazing, but I am more worried about getting the other players back and figuring out what we are going to do with the contract of Freddie.

 

This is the lineup I'd start. Gives you Adams, Holiday, Capela and Tate to rotate off the bench.

It's not a bad thing for KD to have some time off. He's been playing heavy minutes to start the season and a week off now will pay dividends later.

Hope all is well with his fam.

 

Not ideal to have KD out, but let this be early rest while he takes care of things, whatever they might be.

I hope Ime remembers that Uncle Jeff is on the team.

What's the point of having him as depth if you aren't going to play him? He always looks like the best player on the court in garbage time, give the old man some real minutes dammit!

 

I'm concerned the Suns game will be a magnet ball game. They've been shooting the 3 well including tonight against the Spurs. Reed and/or Adams will probably start and you know Ime is going to spam zone which will lead to a ton of open shots from the perimeter.

You guys are making jokes but if you think about it, who can Reed guard (think like Ime):

Williams
Dunn (bad shooter but athletic and strong)
Brooks
Royce O or Grayson
Booker

There's no good place to hide him. Ime doesn't even think about the offensive impact of his team, just whether they can defend. I think there's a good chance he goes with Okogie.

I really really really hope he doesn't, I'm dying to see what Sengun/Amen/Reed look like as a trio.

 

Maybe the man just wanted some turkey.
