That play has been done many other times, too. I think Moochie did it a couple seasons ago. I've seen it in college too. My favorite variation of that was when someone tried to inbounds it off of Jordan's butt. Jordan just turned around and caught it. He'd seen that play before, and set the inbounds guy up perfectly.
But Webber was miserable about being traded there. He said he walked into practice the first day and he was pissed, then he met up with Williams and they just gelled. If Williams hadn't been there, Webber would have just been complaining forever about how miserable he was, but instead he played off Williams' energy (just like Williams played off Webber's talent) and they made basketball famous in Sacto again. That's what people went to the games for, J-Dub's fancy passes, which is why Williams' jerseys were top 5 in sales while he was in Sacramento, not Webber's.
I doubt that Williams is going to be back...hubie turned him into one of the best guards in the league as far as assist to turn over ration....there is a point in your career your going to have to decdide whether you want to be flashy and suck or be flashy and win games and do good for your team. i think he just finally matured that's all.
Just wanted you to remember what he used to be which was crazy and fun to watch.. http://basketball_25_new.tripod.com/videos1.html At the bottom you can view some of his old moves when he was a king.
