Are you saying it's not smart to have attorneys from the place a lawsuit will be tried.

Actually, the firm that is assisting Buzbee IS one of the best in the country. New York isn’t Buzbee’s normal jurisdiction even though he does practice in different federal courts. So no matter what you think, Cary doesn’t JUST have Buzbee. Those dudes are some POWER PLAYERS.

This seems like a ridiculous reach. Trying to make this meeting to appear like something it wasn’t. It was an NFL playoff game. The NFl commissioner was there. The county judge was there. A longtime sports reporter was there. The McNairs were there. Nothing was done in secret as some of the people involved were tweeting etc.

This isn’t some big “reveal.” This is a football game and people you might expect to be there were indeed there.

Are you familiar with how dirty politicians are in Houston/Harris county. Dont put anything past them. They're open to the highest bidder (Crooks)

But, the county judge is not involved in this case in any way. She has no way of impacting any of this.

This is common practice at any firm that doesn't regularly try cases in that jurisdiction. Hell, sometimes you hire someone just so you don't have to fly there for hearings (even if barred in that state/district).

True, not in this suit, but maybe in the future Watson suit. The judges are like thieves in the night.

Incorrect. You’re missing the point. One month after that meeting Cary’s motion to have Janice undergo cognitive testing was dismissed. Cary was the only sibling not invited to this meeting with Goodell, Hidalgo, and the rest of the McNairs.

Also, the DA’s office at the time prior to this, instructed the lead detective that she needed to keep the scope of her investigation limited to 10 complainants, even though there were more police reports.

There was influence regarding Cary being removed and the grand jury only being presented one of the Watson complainants testimony out of 10, with the detective not even invited by the DA to testify.

BTW, Hidalgo is not seeking re election and you will soon see why.

I don’t see this as a meeting. I see this as an important playoff football game where it would not be unusual to have the NFL commissioner or the county judge in attendance as guests of the owners. I have no idea if Cary usually attends games or not. I guess people will see what they want to see. There are always theories floating around I suppose.

I haven’t been following all this, I just found it odd that someone would be suspicious about an NFL commissioner or a county judge attending a football game.
