At home on a Thursday Prime Time game...............the D needs to send a message to the rest of the league. My cringe thought though is we normally suck in prime time, could this be the day we turn it around?? Texans 17 Bills 10
Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen. This D while solid has had many chances to seal games for us and they haven't. Bucs Titans They are just susceptible to giving up the lead in late game situations. Even the Jags would have won it with a FG but they hurt themselves with penalties.
What other QBs be out 2 weeks automatically in concussion protocol... missing the Titans game was already week enough smh...
I believe he’s been examined 4 times, not sure if he’s had 4. If he keeps running the way he does he will have more
Quarterbacks have missed varying amounts of time due to concussions, ranging from zero games to multiple weeks, depending entirely on the individual's symptoms and recovery speed through the NFL's protocol. The median absence time for all NFL players is about nine days, meaning many players miss just one game or return in time for the next Sunday's game. Here are historical examples of time missed by quarterbacks: Examples of QBs Missing One Game or Less Patrick Mahomes (2020 playoffs): Mahomes suffered a concussion in the AFC Divisional round but was cleared from the protocol in time to play in the AFC Championship game the following week, missing no game time. Kenny Pickett (2022): Pickett was in the protocol but was cleared in time to play in the team's next scheduled game. Geno Smith (2022): Smith had a concussion evaluation during a game, was cleared to return to that same game, and started the following week. Examples of QBs Missing Multiple Games C.J. Stroud (2023 season): Stroud suffered a concussion against the Jets and missed the next two games. C.J. Stroud (2025 season): In a more recent case, Stroud has missed three straight games due to a concussion, largely due to not being symptom-free in time to progress through the protocol, especially with short weeks (e.g., Thursday night games). Tua Tagovailoa (2022 season): After a high-profile concussion incident, Tagovailoa missed two games. Later in the same season, he suffered another and was ruled out for the remainder of the regular season, a total of four games. Jalen Hurts (2022 season): Hurts missed the Eagles' final two games of the regular season due to a concussion before returning for the playoffs. The time missed is not a fixed duration, but rather a variable outcome of the mandatory, phased return-to-play protocol.
Don't know why this is so hard for some to grasp. He returned to practice 16 days after the concussion, that doesn't strike me as outrageous. If the game was Sunday I would pretty much guarantee he'd be playing.
Kind of the way I see it. The defense can't do everything. However, I am ready to be pleasantly surprised.
You can run the ball on the Bills. Maybe go with big with 2 TE/1 RB sets primarily? Use Al as spy on Allen for scrambles. Probably will get a PI For hit to head or not due both's reputations, but may keep Allen honest.
The bills have had some stinkers this season as well. Let's hope they overlook the Texans with a backup qb
Imagine thinking you have to play sports to be considered tough Every post I made has checked out. Some of you are beyond annoyed at the credibility of professional opinions killing your argument.
Its Thursday ya`ll.................time to get excited, I hope NRG is rocking in RED and we pull an upset...................I am full of confidence, until Allen punches us in the mouth with a ridiculous 25-yard run for a TD, seriously though, we "can" win this game if we can run the ball and keep Allen off the field and I need the D to come up with 1 TO and I need our special teams not to give them good field position like the Bucs did and I need one over the top TD to Nico to start the game and get the crowd and the D fired up.................not asking for to much am I
