    They always knew Sengun was their guy but if they gave him too many minutes or developed him too quickly they would've had to pay him like the Thunder did Jalen Williams (5 years, 287 million). Instead they got a $50-100 million discount (5 years, 185 million) and a ton more flexibility.

    Man I wonder what Silas is thinking watching Sengun now. I can understand a fan not being able to fully evaluate a player’s potential but imagine what Alpy would be right now if they decided to give Silas one more season. Would have been detrimental to the franchise for years…

    Missed talent evaluation happens.

    If you looked at how Presti handled the Sengün trade, he’d definitely do that one over again.

    That said, Silas was a terrible head coach on all accounts. Thankfully we got to where we are now.
