Alpi coming up big when it matters the most. Another almost triple double. He and Adams both had 8 offensive rebounds.
That offensive rebound and hustle and then the behind the back pass for the score in OT by Sengun was nasty. I told my brother he wasn’t going to let us lose this game he wanted it to bad. Sengun is so freaking good. Rockets came out of that rebuild with some really good players but drafting Goon was what we needed. We got ourselves a legit superstar who’s going to be in that MVP discussion for the next 7-8 years. Good times Rockets fans. Good times.
True. Shot attempts on the box score can be deceiving. He didn’t shoot particularly well tonight, but it’s not as if he took 30 shots either. Clutch.
Difference between good and great players is the ability to turn it on when the game is on the line, specially when having an off game earlier.
That is true and it wasn’t just the clutch buckets he made. He blocked Banes shot at the end. He hit KD for the three that tied it up. Sengun does it all for this team on both sides. he’s the definition of young superstar. He’s got that IT factor that only the select few have. You can tell the other teams fear him and what he brings to the court every night. He’s the truth.
Yeah, this sequence in particular was pretty funny. A little whack that these actually count as field goal attempts but I guess it makes sense, since it would count if it went in
There was another one in the first half Adams bobbled. Durant's post game interview is just how much more awesome Alpi is than whoever else he's played with. Because I don't like watching basketball that doesn't involve Houston, little did I know how engaging Durant is in his post games. I just thought he trolled on twitter and scored at will.
Yet another game Sengun influences the outcome with a defensive play. This is getting tedious at this point Alpi.
