This post is completely devoid of reality. However, you are correct. Democrats are about to have their tea party moment :insert hysterical laughing emoji:

The tea party movement was backed by the biggest morons on the right who felt the party was completely full of RINO's. All fringe. AOC = Palin. Both are complete morons. Palin built the bridge to no where and AOC is traversing it. The Tea Party moment was what eventually lead to Trumps election. And yes, Democrats are on a fast track to elect their version of Trump, which I am absolutely sure you will be their biggest fan. Take a moment to note Trumps biggest fans - You're the same exact caliber person but on the left.

AOC is not going to primary Schumer. AOC is a moron. She is the village idiot who was elected to represent her community. Nobody takes her serious at the adult table. To think otherwise only reinforces my previous point.

Democrats just had the longest government shutdown. You may not realize this, but government shutdowns are hugely unpopular and here you are wanting it to go longer. Further, this shut down has exasperated the sputtering economy. Almost 1 Trillion dollars has been removed from the economy. People are working w/out pay, people aren't getting paid and who knows how many people have been forced into hardship and bankruptcies. You claim you care about the commoners. You only care about your narrowminded team. You are perfectly fine with people not getting their benefits. Its going to take months to recover from this one childish Democrat outburst.

Statistically not true. Places like Oregon and Washington are considerably whiter than the US average, and there are very few black people compared to the country as a whole.

only sour loser would thinks of Seattle negatively, one of the best places outside of California, socialism might help the city narrow income disparity, but not quite sure how a (Mayor) can do that effectively

lol what? The weather alone makes it a sour choice. California and Seattle both are over populated.

that said, Seattle is no where near the bottom. But far from perfect.

you have 8 pleasant months ,and mild grey winter that can be enjoyable too if you are into ski and snowmobile with closeby mountains and resorts.

I know so many who are more than OK to spend their time watching Netflix, satisfied with a bar or restaurant they like near by, but to many people living a thriving active lifestyle is a must, Seattle is one of those places that can keep you busy in a goodway between the ocean and mountains and a solid economy

anytime I'm in Seattle for work,I take my kids ( 2 hours+ away drive from my place) I book at Fairmount Olympics ,skip ocean view rooms since it blocked by tower ,skip the classical 18th century room as its an allergies triggers ) park your car and take a city pass package and enjoy it. And look back about how driving 6 hours to New Orleans for food poisonings was a vacation

The lower say 60%-70% are very unhappy as their standard of living goes down hill and there is less "affordability. If you lose purchasing power by say 1% a year eventually you are very upset. As the mainstream media and the average Democratic politicians give you no answers as they are controlled by the elite. Can't mention or blame the top 1% and higher. Trump gives them at least an answer it is the immigrants and the trans and the lazy welfare mothers (read black and brown) who hog all the health care etc.

In the days of the internet and cheaper travel many are starting to wise up about the practically free college and healthcare and the generous vacations enjoyed by all in such countries as Canada and Austrialia and Western Europe. It is seen as democratic socialism and is increasingly attractive.

Go there all the time. PNW is one of the most beautiful places in North America although Seattle itself is very average. It's the bane of the residents in Redmond, Tacoma and Bellevue. They prop it up with their industries (tech, healthcare, aerospace) and in return get a lawless, dull, entitled city. Downtown itself is kinda sad , plenty of youtube stories about it's decay (Downtown seattle seems to go downhill with more stores and restaurants leaving?? : r/SeattleWA). Wherever there's success stories, there's people angry they don't get a piece of the pie for existing and they turn to handicapping these orgs (even though they've invested billions into the surrounding area to prop it up).

As is always the case, you need to know locals to get an idea of what's really going down. The far left corners of the country (very much cities) are getting more left and the losers of capitalism think it's a movement based on their entitled need to live in these cities off of minimum wage. Ever wonder why upstate NY isn't going communist? Because communists don't want to live where there isn't action and no established revenue streams to sponge off of. Where self reliance is the norm.

Eventually people find out it isn't sustainable, the corporations have the resources to get up and move, and we go through the cycle again.

Starbucks itself is an interesting story. 10 years ago, they had profit margins of 20% and were ripe for growth. Now, with constant employee demands and protests their margins have dwindled to under 5%. They contracted hundreds of stores this year for the first time.

Starbucks Profit Margin 2011-2025 | SBUX | MacroTrends

Barista's who were getting $30/hour ($18/hour + generous benefits package) wanted homes in the city centers they lived in and are now going to find increased competition just to find work from lesser stores. They will never find more money from such a limited skillset but they've never actually built anything or run a business, so they live in their fantasy. Add to that you have AI coming which is what these workers should actually be protesting, and they'll regret throwing away a good gig as they see what else is out there.

ya to visit only ,living there is a different story, driving and commute is a challeng with ailing infstrctures for a city that host many Trillion $$ corporates its a very bad example of capitalism, Washington State is 1/5th of BC size with more than 2X of GDP, but those # won't pass any eye's tests

Allegedly some lodge on the Fraser River was the best salmon fishing trip(s) my parents ever went on.

Brother and I never got invited to go with them (assholes), but I sure enjoyed the freezer full of salmon they brought back.

probably things has changed, from Surrey to Chilliwack area in Fraser Valley is the largest Indian community outside of India, the good , so many successful stories, the bad ..well ..things got out of control..like illegal dumping, water resources contamination, targeted arson, extortion, basically Indian on Indians affairs is out of government reach or interests, it's often so complicated to allocate resources

whenever Washington State issue drinking water advisory, BC ministry pretend to investigate but that's where it stalls
