Rockets legend Pat Beverley arrested for felony assault

    FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Former Houston Rockets player, Patrick Beverley, was arrested in Fort Bend County on Friday, according to court records.

    Beverley is charged with assault of a family member/impeding breath or circulation.

    2 Investigates confirmed with the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office that Beverley was released from jail on a $40,000 bond Friday afternoon.

    Details on the alleged family violence incident are limited at this time, but we are told it happened at a home in the 5500 block of Lady Lyle Way in Missouri City around 3:50 a.m. Friday morning.

    Really. He's better than me then because if I came home and found someone with my minor sister I would probably lose my sheeeet worst than what he did, and then ask questions later.

    One of my great uncles did this, after age 60 or so he found a golddigging pretty young thing, married her, then he had another kid around the age of 70. It was not a good situation for anyone, especially the poor kid.

    I read that he found the 18 year old alone with his sister who is around 15 to 16 years old. I don't think Pat Bev had a record with all the antics he has done so this was something he was willing to get caged for. Let's see how this plays out.

    There is no report of him striking one person, or how many people for that matter, agreed, let time fly by.

    His antics are mostly on the court or against fans .....this is the first time I heard anything off the court .....

    An 18 year old "man" could still be a high schooler, I was 18 most of my senior year. I don't know how old his sister is, but that statement in itself doesn't hold much weight in the "deserves an ass whooping" regard.

    Having sex with a 16 year isn't even against the law in Texas at that age.
