Houston Rockets Tied for #1 Seed in NBA Cup Group C!

Is the group by random draw? because we are in the group of death, while group B Lakers pretty much automatic advances, and group A OKC only have MIN to contend with.

 

I think we should lock in on this because this is good practice for the playoffs. It’s good to be put in high pressure games just so we can test the water’s and see what our guys are made of.

Looks like Wemby is going to miss a few weeks, so the Spurs' chances may now be much slimmer.

 

If you watched after the games last year Sengun was really pumped, he was wanting to win it all. I think it gives young players a taste of playoff atmosphere mid season and keeps them focused on something during a long regular season. It seemed like it was a big confidence boost for our young guys by being competitive during it. You will see a good team lose focus and give up easy ones to a less talented team when you have a long season with nothing to break it up.

 

They should move the cup to the end of the season and the one that wins it all is the NBA champ....

They should make the courts out of carpet just to really shake things up. One of those long shaggy types

 

With every team having their own unique style the profit margin only grows. It made the league double so twice as much product to sell. The licensing alone makes money.

Newsflash: The "NBA Finals" is a made-up marketing ploy. The whole NBA is marketing ploy. Actually, ALL professional sports are marketing ploys. In fact, many amateur sports (NCAA, Olympics, etc.) are marketing ploys.
