A deal too good to refuse, I gotcha. That would indeed be nice, but we need a player coming back. He's playing a lot of value in, and I could see him as one of the centerpieces in a deal for someone...substantial. We are loaded at the position upon DFS's return.
I don’t think we need much more than a journeyman guard for depth. New Jersey ain’t giving up their pick unless it is protected probably top 10. If they offered their pick unprotected, Tari’s gone. This is a tremendously talented draft and DFS has Tari covered.
I am a Tari supporter, but if he doesn’t get back quickly I think they try to trade him. His contract is going to be an issue and DFS was insurance at forward. I certainly wouldn’t trade him for peanuts, but an unprotected pick in the 26 draft and salary matching with a backup guard might be too enticing for the Rockets to pass up. If Reed continues his ascendance, we don’t need a blockbuster trade and one could actually be disastrous.
For some reason I think the 3 pt % is more sustainable by Tari than Okogie. It should take quite the offer to pry him away. Elite D + 40% 3s isn't as common as some would believe.
Nah we need those guys back. Soon as Tari went out, Ime started giving kd less and less rest. He doesn’t expand the bench. He didn’t bring in Tate. Hopefully the Wizards and Middleton reach a buyout agreement and we can bring him in
Man people turning on Tari quick. That’s weak.. I’m a rockets fan but I’m not from hosuton. Got family that lives there and the negative narrative that goes around about Houston sport fans and their loyalty to their players is starting to make sense
I believe we gonna keep the same starting line up but we gonna see more Amen as SF while Aaron and Reed playing our back court. Out of all the 3rd units we got I still trust the Aaron more than any of them and maybe JD Davison break into rotation?
Ya this sucks right now, but I think our chances of retaining Tari at a reasonable contract in the future just increased exponentially
We finally had our bench brigade and now we’re ****ed. His backup has not seen the court even…great stuff Rafael.
Well, that sucks and really surprising. It looked like he got hip checked, didn't figure he'd be out more than a couple of games. Now we need DFS to come back soon so we don't stretch anyone's else or we play more double bigs.
