KD is completely unguardable sometimes.

 

He's guardable, but sometimes it takes more than one guy.

 

The KD - Reed - Sengun - Amen - Jabari lineup is impossible to guard.

 

Black also makes more sense because Rockets fly through space, not the depths of hell

 

We look so good that it's scary. What's a trip is that we can get better.
Didn't like the red court.

 

Thoughts on beating the Blazers:

NIce to see the Rockets turn the clock back to the first part of last season by winning both the offensive glass (20-16) and TO (20-6) battles. Where they did NOT turn the clock back was by shooting 50%/38% from the field and scoring 140 points!

Reed didn't shoot lights out but he was great. My two favorite moments were obviously when he got the steal and the foul and KD & Alpi pumped him up afterward. The other was the prior possession when the Blazers didn't guard him and he simply dribbled to his left, then back towards the paint and drilled the 15-footer like a layup without hesitation. There was no need to pass the ball and he knew it the whole time.
He gets the game ball from me.

I didn't know how much KD loved playing the Blazers until Craig explained it. I doubt he sees a softer defense the rest of the season.

Jabari hitting the 3 in front of the Blazers bench after getting posterized by Shaedon Sharp was awesome. He also shot the ball very well.

Amen had a bad shooting night from the field but his FT stroke looks really good. Seriously.

Aaron Holiday drilling a 3 in the face of his brother was great. Ime giving him extended run did no harm.

Okogie's personal 7-0 run to extend the lead to 19 early in the 3rd was a turning point.

Hope Tari is back real soon.

It's impressive the Blazers have already beaten the Warriors, Lakers, Nuggets and Thunder but you wouldn't have known it tonight.

 

How long are they going to be using that ugly ass all-red court?

I tried to watch the game but couldn't strare at that eyesore for more than like 5 minutes before changing the channel.

 

Is Tari ok?

 

Completely forgot Blazers even had Scoot Henderson. Imagine having Scoot over Amen…

Led by an offensive genius

 

Our offense is flowing beautifully once Reed started to find his role. Now opponent cannot double KD nor Sengun constantly without worrying about Reed getting open space. For past few games Sengun and KD were getting less double teamed due to that reason and Tari also helped on that. Our offense starts with triangle offense where opponent team help defender needs to come off Reed to double KD or off from KD to double Sengun.

Great game tonight.

This was my son’s first Rockets’ game and he absolutely loved it. The team looked great, can’t remember watching a Rockets team that could score 140 in a game. Reed hustles all over the court and the crowd really gave him some love when he was getting pumped up by KD and the rest of the team.

KD just makes it look effortless when he scores — it’s fun to watch.

It’s been a couple of years since I've been to a Rockets game, and this was an awesome one to go back to and share the experience with my son. Toyota Center is a great place to watch a game, but the traffic in and out of the Tundra garage still sucks.

 

140 Points, 26 Assists, and only 6 TO's.

The offense looks f**king amazing.
