I suppose it is pointless to assert things at one another, but I don't agree. Republicans did not change their position. They agreed to delay their dismantling of the federal government for a few months. Everyone who got their jobs back will be fired later. The vote on ACA subsidies will fail in the Senate and in any case won't be taken up by the House. There is nothing durable in this deal. Well, the raising of the debt ceiling is durable. And the surrender of the ACA subsidies is durable.

 

It's cool, all he did was spray him with cologne and ask him how many wives he has.

 

Sure but the Dems had no cards…..aside from hoping Americans would blame them less for the increasing pain.

Meanwhile, all the GOP states that refused to expand Medicaid had their low income folks go on ACA. Now those premiums are going to skyrocket. How many years have the GOP had to come up with a plan?

Will the GOP even be able to agree on anything in January? So far they have not proven to be able to govern past tax cuts.

Every time Trump claims to be for the working class I get disgusted. He's such a lying pig. He doesn't give a damn about the working class, and the fools that still believe his BS are idiots. All Trump cares about is finding cheaper ways to make more money, and gutting worker protections, keeping wages below affordable income, cutting benefits or affordable healthcare doesn't bother him at all.
