Those exact numbers? lol. Ok. I think I read where he and MJ were the only players ever with at least 40 pts, 10 rebs, 10 assists, and 5 steals. Not sure if MJ's was in a OT game. Here's a better number : This man took 45 shots (?!) to get 46 points. Then also consider he was 16/18 from the FT line to get the 45 points. I love Cade, but this was a brickfest.
Cade Cunningham scored 46 points. . . . . On 45 shots!!! WTF? Who the hell would shoot 45 times in a single game? Dude should have scored 70 on that volume. Pathetic. To put it in perspective, in the same game McCollum scored 42 points on 25 shots. Each player made 14 baskets. Even though Detroit won, barely, his coach and teammates should smack that dude upside the head. That's some terrible basketball. We should let Sheppard shoot 45 times next game. Dude would get 100 with the way he's splashing those 3's. That's just 11 shots per quarter. Come'on Reed Get'r Done!!
This is both of them. One bomb to tie it at 114; then he blocks a shot; then the game-winner ("to some Chicago pizza").
Detroit was missing half their team, I think. Or at least that's the excuse I'm hearing. My question is - fine, that explains why he had to shoot 45 times, but it doesn't explain why he couldn't hit so many of them. lol. I think I calculated that was something like a 43% TS%... putrid. Still would love to have him on my team, though. lol.
Big miss by the refs on that goaltend by Wemby. Ball was way too close to the basket. They saw it and decided not to call. That changed the whole game.
How anyone can stand that Twolves color commentator is beyond me. Single-handedly ruins games to watch for me.
The organizers are on acid. Geez. The League continues to screw around with the All Star game..with everything. MOOOOAARRRR $$$$$$$$$!!!
Guys, if Chet stays healthy the entire season, the Larry O'Brien chase might be over. He started off last season similarly but got hurt and never regained form. This version of Chet makes them literally unbeatable. OKC is so relentless on both ends of the floor it's impossible to keep up with them. They are also still missing J-Dub and Dort; Wiggins isn't playing tonight either. I'm not saying the Warriors are a great team this year, but they fought and scapped as hard as they could tonight, but still trailed by over 30 before giving up before the 3rd quarter was even over. No other team in the NBA could beat the literal snot out of them so soundly. This is why after the KD trade, Stone went out and got veteran depth and length for the Rockets. He's trying to imitate OKC's ability to physically overwhelm teams with depth. It's too bad the Thunder/Spurs game is the same time tomorrow as the Rockets.
I love it when cryptic Draymond shows up and he’s talking about his own team. The dejected look on his face during the 3rd quarter last night was priceless.
