I think Yao is capable now. He demands a double team. And that's all you need to control the offensive side of the floor. The problem has been getting him the ball. This will be his time to learn how to establish position and hold it.

The games that Rockets have won are not bc of our guard play. If you watch the pg's play we are below avg. When you have a playerthat is not a pg bring the ball up that is saying the team has no confidence in our pg. Yes T-mac is taken out of the flow of the game when bringing the ball up it is slowing him down.

I still think we need GP. Somebody to run the offense through our big guns. Bring the ball up and down and that can play defense. The West has PG's and to be a contender The Rockets will need to make a deal for one.

Lue and Ward have played very decently. Ward with his shooting, occcasional penetration, and general awareness. Lue, as someone said earlier, has been able to penetrate at the right times...seemingly whenever he wants to. Neither looks for his shot first, they always look to pass. Such a welcomed change...have you seen anyone penetrate and look to pass first in the last 4 years (Moochie for 1/2 a season aside)?

TMac does the same...agreed that he shouldn't bring it up all the time, but only for fatigue reasons imo. Doesn't really hurts his game per se..

Other points have primarily gotten their open shots and penetration due to our sagging defense and subsequent close-out-too-much...the sagging, I've learned, is part of the defensive scheme. I think if they stay on the ground and close out better (and as they work together and improve rotations), the other team won't be able to penetrate or shoot wide-open shots as much.

    Sleepy,

Those were the greatest Rockets Guards of all time. Its a combination of charm, attitude, chemistry, and game.

    Kenny- Calm Cool leadership
Max - Firery No holds barred leadership
    Sam - Street Cred leadership

Its not individual stats with them, its about winning and team.
