As long as Fetterman, MTG, Manchin, etc... whoever keep representing the voters who voted them in...that's up to someone else to vote them out if they disagree

looks like Hispanics got their wake up call

turns out if you’re Hispanic, there’s no such thing as “one of the good ones” to republicans because brown = bad to them

turns out someone who has filed for bankruptcy 6 times and a party that has given us 10 of the last 11 recessions isn’t good for the economy or job creation

turns out “mass deportations now” doesn’t just mean the few illegal alien violent criminals we have in this country…now they’re subject to a nationwide stop and frisk as ICE was given authority by the SC to go up to any brown person and demand proof of citizenship…now they gotta walk with papers on them at all times

It turns out the Republicans were right though. They didn't really need to give anything to the Democrats, they just had to wait for them to agree to what the Republicans wanted. The Democrats could reopen the government at any time, they could have done the same thing a month ago they are doing now. Medhi was wrong (as usual).

Sadly I must agree with you. The democrats didn't have the testicular fortitude to sustain a shutdown, Trump knew it, and he made them his little b****es.

likewise, the GOP didn't stick to their original position; they
    • increase funding for SNAP benefits
    • re-hire thousands of Federal employees fired during the shutdown, with back pay
    • agree to vote on extending ACA provisions

I think the Dems won this.

They were able to show all the problems are GOP created, are going to get the Epstein vote, and people are going to be suffering big time because of this GOP bill.

Politically the Dems will keep the momentum and go into midterms with it.

and people won’t die of starvation.

The flat out bigotry and small p*nis syndrome from that platoon leader gifted that job out of loyalty to Trump disgusts me. What a sexist pig that Ken Doll playing GI Joe is. Ugh.

Its really disgusting. I have a female cousin in the air force whos been enlisted for over 8 years and she told me the morale is at rock bottom with her female colleagues. The worst part is she told sexual assaults nd sexual harassment have skyrocketed cuz they've gutted the reporting system.

I dont understand why any female would wanna join the military. Theyre telling you to your face they dont want you

It's corrupt now. You can't trust Trump and Hegseth to tell the truth. They would both lie to coverup wrongdoing. Not only that, the sexual assaults will be scoffed off just like nothing. Boys being boys. You tell, and we will make your life hell,, and Trump and Hegseth won't care. It's disturbing mindset.

Syria’s President Meets Trump at White House for First Time
The visit by President Ahmed al-Shara is another step in the transformation of the former rebel leader once wanted by the United States as a terrorist.

President Trump waived sanctions on Syria on Monday after meeting with President Ahmed al-Shara at the White House, the latest effort to throw his support behind the former rebel leader who had once been designated a terrorist by the United States, with a $10 million bounty on his head.

The market for a Bernie type independent has never been stronger.

the esrablishment dems shouldn’t be scared of republicans this summer…it’s their own party and people that will break away and take votes

There is a lot of anger, even from die hard liberals coming to the realization that a lot of the establishment is just controlled opposition

That's literally nothing. A promise not to shoot the hostages for a couple of months. Democrats had a weak hand, but Moochie Norris is a better negotiator than them.

They got something small, but really, they looked weak not being able to keep the shutdown going. They needed to make the Republicans fold and they didn't accomplish this.
