What’s the latest on Steven Adams going tonight?

Is he questionable or probable? I’ve heard both in the same damn article. Probable of course sounds more than likely, while questionable doesn’t tell you much at all.

we need him to control Wemby like a twig.

No Harper I think. That means we get to key in on making Castle's night hell, after Wemby. I'm sure the players have heard all the noise from Spurs fans and NBA twitter in general ******** on us for drafting Reed instead of Castle. It's up to us to show them that his peripheral stat line, 19-6-6, is merely a mirage due to excess usage. Reed is only 10-3-3, but shooting 43% from 3 to Castle's 32%. Starting PG with 0.5 win shares at 0.109 WS/48 to Reed's end of rotation role with 0.4 win shares at 0.130 WS/48.

Sengod’s dominance over Wemby is likely still fresh in the minds of those in Vegas. With both teams sitting at 5-2 playing in San Antonio, the Rockets are currently favored by 3.5 points. And it doesn't help with Kornet and Onlynyk both sidelined, Wemby stands as the lone big taller than 6'8" for SA.

I don't know if you believe what you wrote. I can see how it can be taken both ways. If you do believe it, I want to point out the obvious. Reed has played multiple 4th's against absolute scrubs which has done wonders to revitalize his percentages and per/48 numbers. His "career high" assist game the other night as a prime example. It's a lot easier to score and be efficient against Aaron Holiday's defense than Amen Thompson's defense.

I do hope Reed turns it around but for now I'm more interested in Reed not screwing up our title chances this season. Whether Shephard wins MIP or whether he's the 15th guy on the bench is entirely and completely inconsequential if we get a chip.

Should be to make sure he is sore and moving slow tomorrow morning. Send him to the line sometimes but make him play on the perimeter.

I wouldn’t mind some sautéed Fox as a side dish.

I think the strategy is to just wear him out honestly.

On offense, GO AT HIM. He's aggressive on defense, exploit that, take him out of the game by getting him in foul trouble.

On defense, just pester the hell out of him.

Make him work the entire game. He's not a guard, so he can't be hidden on defense. If you got a lane go at him.
