Ja Morant a possible trade target for Houston this offseason?

Good chance that Ja's body is just breaking down at this point. Similar to D-Rose.

 

I also think there is a decent chance this is happening. Smaller guards who don’t shoot well and rely extensively on athleticism fall of dramatically one they start losing that athleticism. Conversely, guys like Durant age gracefully even after losing some of their athletic ability.

 

Rose's body broke down suddenly on one play. I'll never forget this moment. He shouldn't have even been on the floor. He was never the same mentally or physically after this.

I don't think.he has much of a market honestly. He's been terrible and is a head case. He's already shown he'll quit when he doesn't get his way. He thinks he's a superstar when he isn't. No thanks

 

As of this moment, 37yo Westbrook is the superior basketball player to Ja Morant.

 

Anyone wanting Morant on this team hates the Rockets.

 

We need more on court shooting, not off the court shooting.

I'm not actually too surprised at that. Ja's like a bootleg young Westbrook with most of the skills missing. He does throw down a great angry dunk in traffic though, I'll give him that. I always thought Jalen could've been a much better player if we could've just given him Ja's dunking ability/package. But Ja actually doesn't even have the other qualities Jalen has, despite being a good dunker. That's just not a star. Let Amen learn a dunk package training with Maclung or Vinsanity for a summer and he'd give us everything Ja brings to the table, but better, taller and with a real basketball player attached to him. Oh and not a moron who seems to do all the dumbest **** when his job is literally getting paid millions to play sport (genuinely living the ****ing dream.) He's almost Gilbert Arenas levels of dumbass.

 

Do you think he'd hit more 3's if we let him shoot them from a moving car?

For the record, I say Ja will end up in Minnesota. They are a team that isn't talented enough to contend and I don't think they have much to lose. Ja is the most talented player they could add and they specifically need a PG.

I'm NOT saying it would work, just that it's the only legit swing for the fences chance Minny will have in the trade market.

Even a 35 yr old Jrue in his current form via a buyout will be better than Ja for the Rockets.

 

Has he had the injuries like DRose had? Man at his peak he was so much fun to watch. Especially those Bulls vs Heat games. Injuries have sucked so many potential legendary careers away. Rose, Hill, Tmac.
