Sometimes it's that selfish attitude that helped get a player to this level. It's easy to understand why some athletes resent it when a coach (or several of them) ask them to change their mindset away from what they've been relying on all their athletic lives.

Unfortunately, only the spectacularly talented get away with refusing to change, and even then it can still backfire on them (looking at YOU, Ja Morant).

Morant is not only selfish but also crazy, not in the good sense crazy.

We said the same things about KPJ and he's still in the league. As long as there is a Salary Cap, teams are always going to look for cheap talent

Heck, Christian Wood was in the league for almost a decade.

I think we can close this thread.

Washington coach has all but given up on Cam. Dude had another 8 minute night in a blowout loss where damn near 15 guys played and couldn't muster up a single assist or rebound. Just a measley 2 points.

Even the press is starting to say they see why Houston let him go.

When you get chained to the dog house in Washington, it’s time to get a mirror sit in front of it and not move until you figure something out.

As bad as Jalen was you had people that wanted to give the keys to the franchise to this dude.

I’d bump some post but I don’t want to be messy tonight. :p

If he doesn't change anytime soon, he'll be out of the league in less than two years.

one thing about the Stone era that is interesting: none of the guys he has let go have blossomed to bite him in the azz. In fact all of them have played their best basketball here: Wood, Wall, J.Christopher, Destiny Garuba, D.Nix, KPJ. This year’s batch (J.Green, Dillon, Whitmore) looks like will be the same.

Cam thinks he’s Carmelo Anthony when he should be trying to be Trevor Ariza.

Ariza was a damn good degfender and key part to a ring.

    Kobe trusted him

    That should tell you enough.

He needs to try and be a rotation playeris all

I've come to the conclusion Stone is better than Morey. I mean overall, still using stats but doesn't over do it or give mandates. Drafts decent enough. Doesn't put his foot in his mouth making media or other players dislike the franchise. Yes Morey got Harden but that was about it. I believe Morey had like 3 or four season in a row where he drafted 6'9 PF. Morey refused to tank or at least Les didn't let him but when he had his chance to show what he could really do, he left.

Lelz, I did not see revolutionizing the Layup and 3 landscape that the NBA adopted for majority of the teams today.....on Stone's resume.

I mean Morey was ahead of his time, he was more of an Innovator than GM, same with MDA, he was a genius but not an everyday coach.

I agree that Stone is the better GM for today's NBA but Morey did a lot for the NBA in the last decades.....he is not just a general manager.

That was also his so called downfall because he was more than just a manager and meddled in politics etc he should have kept his distance to.

I forgot how many terrible takes there were when this trade first happened. Thanks for bumping this.

Yeah Coulibaly is back from injury and they restricted his minutes for this game, so expect Cam to lose those 8 minutes very soon.

Three consecutive teams have had a problem with his attitude. Must be them right Cam?
