Sauce: Bam Stats: https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/adebaba01.html Just saw he's jackin up 6.4 3's a game this season shooting 46 / 36 / 86. Would be great if AL-P made this leap. Rox are 2nd-to-last in 3PA this season (30.2), narrowly above the Sacramento DeRozans (30.1). Not that we need a drastic change given that we just stomped the league leaders in 3PA on their home floor (Celtics, 47.8), but 2nd-to-last feels sacrelig after the Moreyball golden years.
I watched nearly every game he played at K-State. (Did the same with KD at UT the year before). Beasley was such a supreme offensive talent. I had no doubt he would be an impact player in the NBA. There were no outward signs of trouble that I could see.
I still can’t process why he isn’t a HOF candidate. Idk how you can be that freakin talented and fail
If there was ever an alternate dimension where teams could get draft any player in the history of the NBA to build their team around, the 1st pick would be Michael Beasley.
Guessing defensive liability, lack of awareness to fit in offensive sets, laziness at practice, etc. You hate to see it.
