The dude is on a 2 way contract just trying to make the team and a converted deal into a full
Contract. Probably not having a whitmore moment.

issue is he makes losing plays. In a span of 50 seconds he made 2 losing plays tonight and at least 4 for the game. We can’t play a development player when we are built to win now. I hope we free him to a development team like toronto or portland where he can grow. Get rid of his 10 mil contract.

How is Jabari a highly inefficient one? lolwut?

There are different kinds of role players. There are common very replaceable role players (Holiday, Reed), there are unique role players (Adams, Aaron Gordon), and there great value role players (Pritchard, Toumani Camara, Jabari, Avdija).

Jabari as a stretch PF/C with great defense fundamentals is a very valued commodity. Not every player in your roster is gonna be a superstar Jabari is one of those other guys.

Giannis has no place on our team unless you also wanna get rid of Amen and Sengun.

This. Trade Reed to a team that can endure his growing pains and get us a quality point guard who is qualified to be a rotation player on a contender. I'd still prefer to acquire a top-notch guard like Derrick White but there are at least 50 points guards currently in the NBA who are better than Reed Sheppard right now.

This current situation is bad for both Reed and the Rockets.

I think this is a false choice. We can, in fact, win while developing guys — we are doing it right now.

If Reed costs us a couple of games here and there because of growing pains, that’s really not the end of the world.

Counter point: the current situation is not bad for Reed or the Rockets. We are winning and he is getting to learn by doing.

how far-fetched is it that Fred may come back for the playoffs?
We’ll survive somehow with Sheppard during the reg season, I think.

I don’t want to see Reed get minutes in the playoffs. Fred, KD and Steve are known playoff performers. Alp and Jabari stepped up in their first playoffs and balled out, big time. We got rid of that vagina, Green… Overall, if we can get FVV back, I’m liking our playoff rotation, without Sheppard, of course. If Fred is a no-go, we absolutely need another guard. Maybe something will show-up in the buy-out bin?

What a sloppy win but I’ll take the win any day.

Reed is way too small and almost has to play perfect on the offensive end to make it worth it.

Yes it matters if playoff positioning comes down to a few games. Also we can’t play him in the playoffs if he continues on this route.

I thought Jalen being gone was going to make Clutchfans a utopia but they still exist in the form of Reed haters.

What's wrong with Jabari Smith Jr? Why does he not want to carry Jabarki. Everyone else did!
