Great game. A lot of people would find it ugly but I loved it both teams can't hit 3s to save their lives so both played hard nosed old school basketball scrapping on D, banging for boards and going hard to the rack. I felt like I was transported back to the 90s. The half time show also felt like the 90s when people weren't so politically correct and sensitive. Nowadays we get bowl lady and Harry potter quidditch kids and we supposed to be happy about it.

Not sure what it is about the Red color but you know the curse is real if KD is shooting 25% on wide open 3s.

Amen and Sengun clutched this out they def proved their worth as stars in their own right. Amen absolutely dominated the new hotness Cooper Flagg and even blocked a shot right in his face. Cooper is gonna be a stud though Mavs don't deserve him.

2 guys who stood out to me for the Mavs are Gafford and Christie. This game would be a blowout without those 2. Russell oth is the LVP he cost them the game. I have never seen someone be more of a game loser than Russell. It's like he doesn't care if they win or lose he'd do the dumbest **** like contested 3 with KD right in his grill on a close game or a mid range hesi J like he's Kawhi. Watching him is like seeing Reed with a Bad End.

Speaking of Reed I don't care if people call me obsessed. I don't care if people call me a hater. I don't care Reedsters if start attacking me, Reed is just not good. He shouldnt be seeing the court unless it's a blow out opr against garbage opponents. Holiday and JD guaranteed to do what he does but also not be terribad on defense. Dude had the worst +5 game I've ever seen.

Yeah exactly if Cooper stayed in college he would be breaking records. But I can understand why he'd go because 2026 reported to be the best class ever. I think he is regretting it though Mavs are a loser org and he can't even be the star cuz they have AD and Kyrie.

 

Holiday made a difference tonight. I also don’t mind seeing some JD Davidson out there. But I doubt that happens.

 

Troubling to me. Example: inbounds play. He comes off a screen into a DHO from Sengun then drives to the paint. He had a cutting Amen and wide open corner 3 with Tari. What does he do? He decides to dish off to Capela 12 ft away in the short corner who rotates to Sengun with 4 seconds left to rush a one on one drive from up top. This is low IQ.

 

[Calm Down] we sitting at #5 now. Bad news is our offensive rating took a hit with a “lowly” 110pt game.

Rockets increased their PnR actions to 10 for this game, the call came straight from Ime. They looked dismantled. FVV made it look so easy.

Post ups for Sengun where the highest for the season with 18 of them. Wide open looks just not our night shooting.

Tate getting minutes is always a plus.

Really missed Jabarki's weakside defense. That dog race was something else.

I wouldn’t have minded Russell Westbrook on this current Rockets team. He would have given us some crazy grit and fire lol.

I wonder if JD having a Cam Whitmore moment knowing the only reason Reed is playing over him is due to politics or if it was a legit reason.

 

I find it very poetic. There is a hint of shock at his athleticism from a trio of finely tuned athletes that already know his athleticism. This is what makes this a classic as @Deckard opined.
