    1st half:

    Good thing Amen is playing. Pretty wild half with 20/4/4.

    Tari continues to hit wide open 3s, which I believe he can do the entire season but not quite at this insane clip.

    Alpi has completely lost his shooting touch. Back to the drawing board. But after a soft 1st quarter, he brought it in the 2nd.

    KD is ice cold but still had 10 points.

    Reed had a stretch in the first quarter that was really scary. I don't ever want to see that again.

    Rockets rebounded almost half of their missed shots. That was the only passionate thing they did on offense.

    The offense was mostly out-of-sync but a lot of possessions had great passes lead to easy baskets.

    The foul and FT differentials (13-5 and 14-4) are laughable. It is so un-Rockets-like.

    The effort on defense was flat out terrible. Very disappointing. The Mavs are playing like an undertalented team that has discipline. All the Rockets need to do is match their effort, play with focus and this game will break open.

    Your periodic reminder that moving Amen Thompson off the ball is a good thing as you see tonight - no matter how much they call him a PG -; basically in name only - he is not a high usage half court orchestrator, invert that & watch the dunks
