Do yourselves a favor and give this a quick read... Graham Platner "In His Own Words" Because There's No Better Way To Understand Someone's True Self... https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...aign=trending&pm_source=sidebar&pm_medium=web
I'm calling it now: Secretary of Labor under another Dem (or some gig in the media) and he runs again in 2032. ^ God, can you believe the year 2032 is not that far off?
BTW, until I couldn't take in anymore I was the DP precinct chair fwiw in my area of Houston. Finally after a couple of years of trying found someone who would take it over. Hope you knock yourself out supporting the moderate respectable consultant curated types you find blameless for Trump and the current situation.
I like this article, even if it is from the milk toast Daily Kos which got its start from being sort of opposed to Gulf War. I like the artice, but I gave up on the milk toast Daily Kos when they were so against Bernie. For the real deal on Platner see: https://jacobin.com/2025/10/platner-maine-senate-reddit-media
You keep aiming your opinions at my opinions, which you obviously know nothing about. As for the Democratic Party, I've been involved myself in the past. These days, I send them what they ask for and need the most, money.
I don't know anything about you except you appear to be a moderate liberal who seems fairly content with the Democratic Party especially their foreign policies. I do think that the Clinton-Obama-Bidens do have quite a bit of the blame for MAGA and Trump rather than the left.
For the last several elections as many as 70% have wanted major change. As many as 15% of Trump voters voted for Obama once or twice. google it. These voters voted for major change yet Obama turned out to be largely a disappointing Clintonite. Obama was the ring master who helped to defeat Bernie and economic populism bringing us Biden and Kamala and a continuation of the disappointing status quo with the income and wealth flowing ever upward. You can't just keep blaming the current morass with many lower working class voting GOP i.e Trump purely on racism. I would add that racism is very much aggravated when one is suffering economically and wants to blame someone. This is reinforced by virtually all the media and nearly all politicians who are dependent on wealthy donors say your economic struggle has nothing to do with the wealthy paying dramatically less taxes for public goods like healthcare and education.
