    While I agree with this.
Things have changed with how QBs are paid.
Those are some of the elite of the elite outside of Baker and Goff.
As good as Baker and Goff are playing, I don’t want to pay them 50+ mil a season when they can’t carry a team. I think CJ falls into that category. Dak, Baker, Goff level QB that needs help around him to win. Hard to do that with QB salaries now

Adjusted EPA/Play :: Adjusted QBERT Entering Week 9

Trevor, Bryce, Kyler, Tua, Caleb, and Jayden in the bad zone in the bottom left. Stroud next to Herbert and Baker

Watching the Chiefs game last night I paid attention to Patrick`s demeanor on the field and the sideline, the dude has ice water in his veins. The look on his face said it all, "I got this boys", and just made play after play, on the sidelines he was firing up his team and huddling up with his teammates. IMO that's where CJ has to grow into, I can see a little growth but the command that guys like Mahomes, Stafford, Allen, they all have that KILLER mentality and they are the undisputed leader. CJ has a quiet demeanor, and I hope he grows into this because that's what it takes. He can Thanks the Lord all he wants and I`m cool with that, but when you get between the lines, you have to want to put your foot on their throat and not let up

That was nice, this Sunday is make or break...........I am going into Sunday with all the confidence in 7 but won't be shocked if their D line kicks our O Line up and down the field. Win this game and it's on, lose this game and its season over, they may still be mathematically in it, but if we can't beat the "good" teams what does it matter

Out of the national media peeps I think Orlovsky praises CJ more than anyone.

Was Channing Crowder or someone else, said that with greatness you can't be all there in the head, some irrational crazy to it. And said thats what Mahomes is, "not really all there" in a good way lol

Like a level different than cockiness. Not the Johnny Manziel thing with reckless distraction. But like a Larry Bird "built different" focus & competitive drive.

Don't think CJ necessarily has to be all brash. Joe Montana rightfully earned the Joe Cool nickname for being composed & collected. But Montana was maybe a "not all there" jock brain maybe TOO cool & confident past sensible level. Which is a settling factor on the team. CJ needs to find his zone of where that is

I'm sorry, but I haven't seen any growth in this area at all. When things go bad he pouts like a child on the sideline.
