[Movie] Halloween (1978)

It's the original, and best, old school "slasher movie"

The rest kinda all suck.

 

I record and watch it every year. The OG is a masterpiece. All the sequels and remakes blow endless loads of chunks.

The key is it's genuinely creepy and unsettling to watch. It doesn't just rely on shock, gore and jump scares.

And the music...aside from Star Wars, probably the most iconic movie theme ever.

 

Just watched it this weekend and it still stands up as the GOAT

 

I wonder how it would have turned out if Michael ever ran instead of just walked like an idiot.

 

I have no desire to watch another Halloween movie after the last one. But the 2018 one with JLC was pretty good, IMO.

 

That's cool. I think Michael Myers is rather lame when compared to Jason, but I enjoyed it though.

I do agree that the original is a classic.

 

The original was psycho. Although I'm not a real big Hitchcock fan, to be honest if we're speaking technically. John Carpenter made Halloween in homage too psycho right?

 

I'm going to piss off all you Halloween/Michael Myers fans.

I secretly love Halloween 3. There. I said it.
