Liar, trump just told us he fixed inflation and without the tariffs we would be a 3rd world country :D

Seriously, its bad in every sector................we be F`d and the sheeple won't realize it until it's too late.............he only cares about himself and how he can bully billionaires and small countries

And about all those folks saying they would INVEST billions, that was just theatre so he can tell his cult "Mfg is coming back"

What did it accomplish? Exactly what Trump and Miller and Vance wanted.

They used Musk as a stooge to go and "cut" waste in the government.... keeping the heat off of Trump.

It also let Trump gut part of the government and eliminate government employees that would be critical of the dismantling of democracy.

So now - Trump has eliminated a lot of the impediments from his first term, and can more easily do whatever he wants.

How many of those companies got massive tax breaks from the Trump regime?

How many of them are pitching in millions to help build that ball room?

Jeff Bezos not even a week ago sold his house in Seattle for $63 million and bought a $237 million compound, but his company has to lay off 30k people…

the American people are getting played, and a ton of them are MAGAts too blind to see it

I’ll just sit back and watch the chaos unfold

So your financial rule would be that a CEO/Chairman cannot purchase a new home if he lays off employees?

    These people vote, ya'll. Scary.

    GOOD DAY

    Fed Chair Powell this morning:

"In the near term, risks to inflation are tilted to the upside, and risks to employment to the downside -- a challenging situation. There is no risk-free path for policy as we navigate this tension between our employment and inflation goals."

    In other words, stagflation. Wonderful.

In their statement, the Fed said “job gains have slowed” and “risks to employment rose in recent months.” The Fed characterized economic growth as “moderate,” and said inflation “has moved up since earlier this year and remains somewhat elevated.”

    Paging MAGA..

This REALLY is setting up to be an authoritarian's dream.

If Trump doesn't pull off control of the government - there will be a leftist white knight that will emerge and lead the disgruntled.

Billionaires and the real establishment beware.

Important to note that Trump is the least popular president in american history at this point. The demographics that helped him win now hate his guts

"I don't know what you are talking about, I went grocery shopping last week sir and prices were better than they have been in years, certainly better than when Sleepy Joe was in office. I also filled up my gas tank for $10. I see not inflation good sir. "

Yeah - but I have seen the man dig himself out of the grave many times. Until he isn't in office - I am going to be skeptical of what his popularity really is or is not, especially when he has time to campaign.

I have honestly thought that's why we're seeing a lot of what we're seeing. If insurance markets are going to collapse (not just for property but for medical), and if the estimates of weather-related damage and sea-level changes over 50 years are accurate (and many smart people think they are probably accurate enough)... then why wouldn't an ultra-wealthy person logically think the following:
We can't possibly afford to take care of everybody on current trend lines. We have to get a little more feudal and the new peasantry will have to make do as best they can outside our castles.

So you'd just say F-it to renewables, the EPA, the CDC, the affordable care act, and on and on. And of course ladle on some massive tax cuts for all that castle building to come for the top 0.1 %
