Haha that's true, he did make an allstar team b/c he was on the warriors. Obviously it was a complete joke and not remotely deserving but he did technically make one. I would personally rather draft bennett than wiggins because you can just cut bait on bennett where as wiggins will drag down your franchise for years. I don't really think the jury is out on flagg though, like i would be SHOCKED if he's not at the very least a star. If he's not as good as peak wiggins by the end of his rookie year that would also be stunning to me, i think people just vastly underrate how important and impactful basketball IQ and understanding can be.
Wiggins’ career is below median for a #1 pick. Probably more 25th-35th percentile or so, but that’s in part how you would rate compared to someone like Ben Simmons who had higher highs but not a long career as a solid but unspectacular player. Either way definitely not a total bust like Fultz, Bennett, Kwame, and Olowakandi. For median #1 I’m thinking at least 2/3 all star games and at least sniffing consideration for an all nba team at some point.
Inside the NBA crew was right he needs to be playing off ball and not point. He looks good though and I like his attitude.
Cooper was the worst player on the court yesterday. Looked awful and absolutely not ready for a starting spot on a competing team. If they want to start him then fine but trade Davis and Kyrie for assets and just tank the year.
Despite the bad game, I'm all in on Cooper - guy is significantly better on offense than I originally thought(and probably a little worse defensively than what I thought). I do feel a bit like Cooper, Wemby, and Amen are the best young players out there right now and while that's amazing - it's also going to be a blood bath in the West in the coming years and I'm a little worried about Wemby being in the way of the next Rocket dynasty.
