Diana is reporting that the Jags are entertaining calls on Brian Thomas Thomas. After one season? Does he show up tipsy to meetings or something. They also want help defensively. We could ship out Harris and a DT for Wyatt milum their back up guard.
The Texans have such dysfunctional leadership that it is unlikely they "get it all fixed." By the time they get the offense fixed, the defense will need work. They can't walk and chew gum at the same time. The big question is: will they give up on Demeco? If they do, then it is "fruit basket turn over."
I dont see them winning more than 5 games so selling off Howard/Hunter Schultz/Harris etc... load up on draft picks in the 2026 draft, I's a deep draft and use those picks along with the 1st, two 2nd/3rd/two 4ths to fix the OL. In addition to spending FA money to get a top tier IOL in FA. I'm for either fully cleaning house Ryans/Caserio/CJ or giving them one more year after loading up to fix the offense through the draft. But I hope the McNair's dont take 1/2 measures which ever way they decide to go.
Since we're always dealing with the Eagles, they should send us Shipley. Barkley and Bigsly blocking his ascension. 250 yards between both of them. This has nothing to do with me wanting a white RB, CB, or Receiver since 2011. I promise.
Available for trade RB Pierce or Ogunbowale WR Berrios (or Watson?) Edge Taylor (or Horton) Targets Go get SAF Dugger from Pats (they're not even playing him anymore) See if Panthers will let IOL Christiansen go (doubtful, but ask...if not, get him in the off-season) Edit: TE Daniel Bellinger (NYG) Sign from PS RB Pierre Strong, Jr. (GB) has experience with our coaches + used to HR threat
Indy has the best record. The Texans can't avoid playing noon Saturday, first weekend.. if they make the playoffs. The fact Luck retired early and Peyton's neck malfunctioned are the only reason the Texans have ever appeared to, maybe be, possibly be, perhaps be anything significant.
I just don't think the Texans can get in the playoffs with so many great teams in the AFC and the Colts taking control of the division. The Texans would need a long winning streak against other AFC playoff contenders.
Not that tough. Need to win at least 3 games vs KC, Buffalo, Denver, LAC, Jax, and Colts x 2. Given how -- Jax and LAC are super hot/cold, Denver and Indy are due for a few come back down to earth games, and Buffalo's defense is looking a bit shaky due to injuries. There should be 3-4 wins in there. Just need to go ~0.500
Texans have the most difficult schedule in the NFL. https://www.tankathon.com/nfl/remaining_schedule_strength No one in the top 5 is likely to make the Playoffs. Look at the teams at the bottom. New England's schedule is a complete joke. Drake Maye is padding his stats against bad competition. Texans got royally f***ed this year.
Demeco went off on ‘the media’ during the presser. Specifically DJ and Landry. Then they gave a push back and he dipped out. He needs thicker skin cuz the H-town media is soft as baby food.
LOL If they think the Houston media is “mean” or “tough” or “too negative”…New York/Philly media would eat them up. (I know he spent 4 years in Philly) “Woe is us!” John is right. They spend a lot of time talking about “outside noise” they “don’t pay attention to” or “doesn’t matter”. “Let me talk about this outside noise we pay no attention to. Just noise.” “Y’all can celebrate that!” “Stay together. Keep it tight.” CJ: “Who cares what people say? Never matters. We on the field.” More about “Sticking together as a team.” — "It's only about us" - DeMeco Ryans on sticking together as a team. Let’s reaffirm how “great” Nick Caley is and has been. Caley is awesome! Spoiler
i relate to Ryans here because i also despise most sports journalists. I listen to press conferences and 80% of questions asked are just moronic.
