Stephon Castle shot 28% from deep. He's trash. He's like worse version of Jalen Green. Knecht would be a solid wing roleplayer for us, 46.1/37.2/86.2. Efficiency in a roleplayer is way more valuable than another athletic chucker. If you want that archetype Jalen Green's actually better.
he still looks like a robotic stiff out there Jabari has a rigor mortis game his jump shot is also still not trustworthy, and because of that, we basically have little to no shooting and spacing in the starting lineup outside of KD
He was scoring multiple ways being a third option. Used dribble drive and actively defending his man. 16 pts 5 boards. His dribbling is noticeably better. His aggressiveness in getting to the paint is noticeably better. Hope he shoots from 3 better but I thought he had a pretty good/great game.
He plays good defense, rebounds, and will be a very good 3 pt shooter. He is a very talented, inconsistent 22 year old starting PF for a title contender. You on the other hand are a nobody, worthless poster that constantly trolls this board with your negativity and lack of basketball knowledge. Please go away.
His defense is overrated, he be getting cooked by everyone. Not strong enough to guard bugs, not quick enough to guard guards.
Jabari got cooked on defense last night worse than Sheppard did against OKC but a single game shouldn't define either of them among honest people.
He lost quickness once he bulked up....that is somewhat expected and it would mess with him guarding quicker players...... His versatility could be lost.....can he slim down again? (I also observed that Sengün is a little slower too)
It's not just the top 3 picks and it's not even just the draft. It's almost like there's exactly a 4 year pattern of no one being able to meet our expectations with their drives to the rim (except Alpi).
jabari needs to go back on the bench. He should only he guarding slower 3's and 4's and 5's. Move KD back to the 3 and start either Reed or Eason. I need him playing more like Klay and not trying to be Kevin.
Same as last season. The eye test certainly did not match the defensive metrics surrounding him last season.
