i worry that nobody will bring the energy that Dillon Brooks brought to the Rockets last season

 

Wish he would’ve brung it in the playoffs. Dillon had great energy for about 3/4 of the season and then petered out. He really pussed out against GSW. He was a perfect signing to help Ime change the culture. His time here was well spent, but his time as a starter or even a better bench option than Tari was up. He will help Phoenix in the same capacity.

 

You would see more players as you put it ....peter out .....in Udoka's realm players get taxed.

 

I agree. Ime still has a lot of growing to do to become a championship coach. One is utilizing the incredible depth he has been blessed with, instead of playing favorites 40 mins a game.

 

I think the culture has been set. Amen, Jabari, and Tari all have grown that edge on the court. Aquaman helps as a natural enforcer. It is Ime’s culture to begin with - Dillon was just an example for the younger players to emulate

 

For sure, we see it this year or whenever there are several key injuries whoever is left to step up.

 

More sad we lost Brooks rather than green tbh. Him and FVV were the cornerstone of our defensive culture
