Lol, why wouldn’t the final play be for KD, the guy with 37 points and one of the best shooters in the world, to get a three?

Does the FBI need to investigate Ime for illegal gambling? Idk if this is his game plan, or the game plan of the mob boss he owes money to.

in these trying sports times i remind myself that sports is a dumb hobby and none of this really matters. Kevin Durant does not know I dont really like that he is a rocket because of his times at OKC and GSW. Amen and Sengun dont know i root for them to win. CJ Stroud doesn't know i set my alarm to watch his games.

sports is dumb. i hope the feds shuts it all down for gambling.

 

We lost some close games, but its obvious what we're missing: a point guard to settle our team and get our players to the right spots.
I'm not panicking because when our players who resigned for newer contracts will become trade eligible in December...we will upgrade our guard positions, definitely not wasting KD's years in Houston

 

Yeah but we're not running at all, which makes it much, much worse.

A few quick takes on the game:

standout players - KD, Okogie, Adams

Amen played poorly and the early foul trouble really hurt us.

Bari played almost 40 minutes but seemed to regress offensively, just 11 points. The defense was really good though.

Tari was almost a non-factor except for one great transition bucket off his steal. Okogi outplayed Tari again tonight.

Sengun struggled finishing around the rim and overdribbled a lot. The shooting continues to look real. Sloppy game tonight though.

Reed was up and down. Had a few good defensive plays but also got cooked. Couldn’t shoot from mid-range, but was money from 3. We’re gonna see a lot of inconsistency from Reed in the early going, but he’ll get better.

overall general comment: the ball handling is tge worst I’ve ever seen collectively from an nba team. It’s atrocious. I hold my breath worried about a turnover pretty much when anyone else besides KD starts dribbling the ball. And the ball movement was too inconsistent to help get guys shots. I know it’s just been two games but I fear this is a systemic problem with our team that will dog us all year. I hope I’m wrong.

 

This confirms Udoka is a wildly innovative coach but too innovative that he is treating player's weakness as strengths.

Rox were actually leading when Okogie was playing. Rox beat Pistons in 3Q which was when he played. Ime iced him for no reason.

3 point shooting isn’t the be-all and end-all, but you still need spacing in this league

you can’t have no PG and no shooting out on the floor…pick a struggle

For some reason I thought he got his shot blocked 6 times. It was ugly

 

What I meant is we traded our youth to be in win-now mode. Getting KD skips us past our developmental stage so players like Reed and Tari who are struggling by trade deadline will be moved...

 

Teams have been running double big they just dont make a big deal out of it.

OKC had Chet and Hartenstein. Pistons run a big ball line up every guy is 6'6 or taller.

Honestly both OKC and Pistons have big ball lineups. Rox might have the smaller lineup all things considered because of Reed, Holiday and JD the 3 munchketeers.

 

If they continue to suck ship them out. Being young means nothing if you a scrub.
