After witnessing Game 7, I just never believed the league wasn't rigged in some way. It's funny but so many people believe it's a coincidence Mavs got Cooper Flagg with a 2% chance at #1 overall after gifting away Luka to the Lakers when they needed a future post Lebron. Or how Spurs, after everyone in the media says they wished he landed on the Spurs, and he does. How about Cavs getting #1 right after Lebron left? and conveniently getting some #1 picks to trade for K. Love once Lebron went back.
Just imagine if we got the #1 pick in 2021...Instead, we wasted four years for the mediocre Jalen.... As bas as Sengun played tonight, that's still an excellent #16 pick in 2021. In 2022, we had the #3, picking Jabari was the natural choice, won't complain much about this one. In 2023, we didn't get the chance to pick Wemby however I clearly remembered that he didn't want to play for the Rockets anyway. And, since we got Amen instead, I won't whine much. Well, pick in 2024, seems to be a wrong bet so far. I'll still watch a bit more games before jumping into conclusions. To be fair, Reed didn't get any real chances last season. So, this is actually like his rookie season.
