Dalton might catch 12 passes for about 65 yds in this game.

Hahaha exactly. Put Noel in a legit system and i think that kid would ball out. Great athlete and excellent RAC type.

Should have asked him why he doesn’t qb sneak on 3rd and a half a yard

Of all the frustrations I have with this team, this has been the longest lasting and most confusing to me. Throughout many different coaching regimes, we have CONSISTENTLY refused to QB sneak when we only need 1 yard or less. I don't know what the numbers are for success in those scenarios, but my experience from watching other teams over the decades is that it almost ALWAYS gets you that 1 yard. Whereas handing the ball off with our weak O-line feels like 50/50 at best.

I'm not asking us to go full push-tush here. Just shove forward on the snap and let CJ's 6'3" frame push full forward as much as he can. It will work. It almost always does.

Year after year we talk about execution and technique not being "right", when you have sub-par players going up against a REAL Defense what do you expect.................its like this with any job, if you're not good at what you do your going to fail, if you cant pick up what your boss is laying down then you wont have that job very long, no amount of teaching will help that if the person learning simply cant do it................stop asking them to do it and find someone who can do it, this isn't rocket science man................there is no NFL quality on this O Line

I need to see his stats on coverage near the LOS vs deep coverage... I'll bet there is a BIG difference (TWSS)

That's the only way we win now days it seems. We need to play a team riddled with starters out.

We will somehow be right there to win it at the end of the game or get blown out. Team hasn’t shown enough against the better teams we’ve faced this season to think otherwise.

I wanna see Woody get more looks with short passes and RB screens to get the ball out quicker so we don’t have to rely on the o-line holding up for more than a few seconds.

I'm not looking forward to going to this game to watch my team get trounced and have to deal with 49er fans...they are almost as bad as Chiefs fans...

Given how many players the Niners are missing, if CJ Stroud can be better than awful, the Texans should win the game. If he can't be better than awful....well, we'll see what we saw last week.

Without Nico, I'm having serious doubts. A 49ers blogger mocked the Texans on Twitter about Dalton Schulz being the biggest worry for their secondary.

The 49ers defense is decimated but Robert Saleh has them seriously amped and playing above their heads. On the other end, Kyle has shut up the doubters about what happened last year and reminded everyone he remains a great offensive mind.

Texans defense is elite but the offense is such an atrocity. It should be low scoring and close. The defense must get TOs and beat up on Mac Jones like other teams have done.

Pitre and Stingley were here before Demeco. I guess Demeco did get us Lassiter though, along with AAS.

Well, and the 49ers still have CMC, definitely one of their best players.

What're you're thoughts on the game here, Bob? I might want to know which team you're picking, for you know, just regular fun reasons.

Yeah, I'm probably still toxic with eggball picks, but here goes: 49ers by 7. The morale of the 49ers alone would probably put them over the top. The team seems super healthy in terms of the locker room and all these young guys contributing. And Saleh is a witch. I can only imagine what he's going to do the Texans O Line. It will probably be illegal in a number of states (anti-sodomy laws, etc).
