That is actually believable tbh, just because nobody else has ever had that many monster games at that age and still been a bust. I could definitely believe he was throwing games with how much his talent just completely disappeared all of a sudden.
Yeah this is a fair point too. Lock his ass up for not beating that shimmying goblin by having a "bad game."
This has Adam Silver a whole lot more worried than the Clippers/Kawhi scandal. After the latest media deals, the NBA is obscenely profitable and scandals like these are the one and only thing that can knock it off the upcoming 11-year run of sickening riches.
Anybody else think the administration may have waited until just AFTER the season started because they wanted to maximize damage to the NBA?
Oh no doubt. Good chance everyone is 100% guilty, but also 100% likely to get as much attention as possible in front of the cameras to stick it to a 'woke' league.
I think these will have a synergistic effect if the arbiter decides there is no cap circumvention. Silver needs to hope the arbiter decides it is cap circumvention. Laying down the wood, Goodell style, would save a little face. I'm sure Silver would rather there not be a Kawhi situation, but it would be bad optics if Blamer got off gently (whether Clippers are innocent or not).
Just because you watch a guy play a game on TV doesn’t mean he’s a good guy. The league is full of scumbags just like in any other profession. These dudes ain’t special.
