I have a good friend who is MAGA, we avoid politics- last night we were hanging out watching football and drinking bourbon and decided to debate, I will never do that again. Every time we talked about Trump it was "Whataboutism" 101.....and I was like yep, put them in prison too if they broke the law but what about Trump....whataboutism again. He was incapable of thinking Trump was a criminal - and was trying to say he has the right as President to do all of this, and I was like....yeah, that isn't in the constitution - we ended the discussion - didn't get too heated, and went on to listen to 80s dance music as we watched the game. He is MAGA -through and through, and is a great guy otherwise, but he is so far down the rabbit hole of propaganda and bullshit that he can't see truth at all. I told him that I won't ever talk politics with him again, because he doesn't want to deal with reality......beyond the one that Fox feeds him. DD
