Ronnie Seikaly was the man back in the late 80s, early 90s, out of Syracue and on to the Miami Heat, Lebanese descent. He came from a wealthy family, he dad is a multi-millionaire in the shipping business. I was living in Miami at that time, you should have seen the amount of hotties that were chasing him, the man can flat out pull!
He comes from a very wealthy, well-connected family. He was set for life financially BEFORE he made it to the NBA.
Dream was a monster from day one in the league. I don't think anyone would ever have complained about his playing. Maybe his attitude, but not his playing. Just go to NBA.com and find his career stats. I don't think you can even begin to compare Yao to Dream yet.
I agreed with you. However, we should not judge Yao by Dream or other great players. We all know Dream is once in a lifetime kind of special player.
Come on! Not this again. I thought we already settled this when another thread compared Yao to Dream. Hakeem's name should only be memtioned in the same breath as Shaq, Wilt, Russell, Jabbar, and maybe a couple others. Yao has not earned the right to be mentioned in the same sentence as these guys. For you that wish to compare, I'll give you George Mikan. Go ahead and compare him to Mikan. How he made it into the 50 best of all time beats me.
