www.sorryeverybody.com There are literally thousands of photos on this web site of people holding up signs apologizing to the world for the outcome of the election. It's a pretty interesting/funny read. I don't agree with them myself, but I think they found a good (non-violent & humorous) way to deal with their displeasure.
And again...this website did get quite some press coverage in Europe . I didn't want to post it, though because I thought people might get upset...
Yeah, I remember the reaction when you pointed out that the people outside of the US were restricted from Bush's campaign site.
I'm glad you and other Europeans, like arno_ed in the Netherlands, post here, SJC. Americans tend to be so insular in their thinking. When an American posts about world reaction to American policy, the reaction here is often, "Who cares?? (fill in the blank) them!!" It does matter what the rest of the world, and especially our Allies, think of our actions, both at home and, of course, abroad. I would love to see a major shift in the Bush Administration's foreign policy towards Europe. I'm not holding my breath. Keep D&D Civil!!
Thanks, Deckard. I'm thankful that I can post here. No matter who the current president is, I belong to the part of the rest of the world that loves America. Therefore, I am giving you one more laugh...
That's odd...I can see it, no problem...well, maybe someone did a "reverse www.georgewbush.com" and blocked access for people in the US?
That seems like an older version of it with a lot less pictures... By the way, for those who can see it...in her case, I have some ideas what she could do for me to forgive her...
Hmm...strange...mc mark can see it in NY, but you can't see it in Texas? Very strange...then you can't see this either...just posting a link, perhaps NSFW! http://www.sorryeverybody.com/upload_files/se1031.jpg
