I am close to tears watching the intro sequence for NBA on NBC. Focusing on the game and its history without the idiocy of ESPN money-grabbing idiocy. Free of Kendrick Perkins, Stephen A., Skip, Broussard, and everyone else that ruined the game (minus Lebron). This is what an NBA broadcast should look like. (Although I do not need to be reminded of Bob Costas.) Dream and Glide highlighted at 1:06 mark Let's win at least 2 more championships in this new NBA on NBC era.
Showing my age but I teared up as well. Easily NBA on NBC was the Golden Age of the NBA. Perhaps we'll see a revival. NBA on NBC in the 90s didn't start until Christmas Day I think so for me it just felt like midseason last night. Then I watched the Rockets in horrible form still managed to take it to the Champs. I think this game puts the league on notice that there could be a new sheriff and champion in town. We are all here for it. Let's go Rockets
It was great, gave me the tingles, glad they didn’t try to change too much and so happy the old voice was only used for two lines. Basically things he used to say so not really AI, though you never know what they will do in the future.
