Trump Said to Demand Justice Dept. Pay Him $230 Million for Past Cases
Senior department officials who were defense lawyers for the president and those in his orbit are now in jobs that typically must approve any such payout, underscoring potential ethical conflicts.

    ****
According to Justice Department regulations, the deputy attorney general — in this case, Mr. Blanche — is one of two people eligible to sign off on such a settlement.

“I have a lawsuit that was doing very well, and when I became president, I said, I’m sort of suing myself. I don’t know, how do you settle the lawsuit, I’ll say give me X dollars, and I don’t know what to do with the lawsuit,” Mr. Trump said, adding: “It sort of looks bad, I’m suing myself, right? So I don’t know. But that was a lawsuit that was very strong, very powerful.”

Demolishing the White House, looting the Treasury by forcing the DOJ to write him checks.

What the ****, this is sick ****. Anybody who signs off on this must be prosecuted either under this set of laws or the next

He didn’t lose those cases and spent nothing for his defense. He literally scammed dumb people to pay for his defense. Is he going to pay those people back? Of course not.

Sure but I think on some level - the sheer moral clarity of Trump being a horrible, malignant person that demeans us all by virtue of his very existence is worth noting if we're going to have a society.

The guys legacy has to be erased & paved over - fuhrerbunker style at some point. A future government will have to Demolish mar a Lago like he demolished the White House.

Again as a kid/young adult I always thought morality was overrated and not entirely necessary - maybe I was just immature, but also because the rules for society against open depravity were generally honored

Now they're not, it's a combination of factors why (inequality/end stage capitalism, Internet, etc) but we have to try & get it back

Trump still owes the state of New York 100s of millions of dollars in a civil banking fraud judgment.

Curious how those numbers line up.

IIRC the initial judgment of 350+ million dollars is in the process of being reduced in NY appeals court.

That's exactly what I was thinking

Literal demolition of the White House

Figurative demolition of Congress (currently closed in part bc the President has close ties to pedophiles)

    Judicial branch captured by lackeys

Destruction of US power abroad, state capacity etc

The Osama Bin Laden anti American grand slam - he'd love to see it if Obama hadn't killed him

All the signs Donald Trump has no intention of ever leaving the White House
It looks increasingly like Donald Trump wants to cling on to power beyond his legal term. It
